Sliding-Door Reception onto a Tiled Patio

A reception room finished with large-format porcelain tiles, opening through a run of slim black-framed sliding doors onto a tiled patio and a landscaped lawn beyond. The internal tiling and the external patio are set close in level so the two spaces read as one when the doors are open.

This is the outdoor side of our work — a tiled patio laid to connect a renovated interior to the garden, with the levels and finish worked out so the threshold is flush and clean. Landscaping like this is the finishing move on a lot of our extension and renovation projects.
