Period Kitchen with Island, Exposed Oak Frame
Ascot & East Berkshire

Photograph: the company's own work, from its Google Business profile
A full kitchen renovation photographed on completion inside a period, timber-framed property. Hand-painted shaker units run around two walls in an L, with a central island housing built-in wine coolers, quartz-look worktops, a range cooker beneath an extractor, and an American-style fridge-freezer built into a tall run.
The character of the room comes from what was kept: the home's original black-painted oak frame and ceiling beams are left exposed against the new white cabinetry, and a wood-effect floor runs throughout. Marrying a new kitchen to an old timber frame takes care over levels and setting-out — the units meet the historic structure cleanly rather than fighting it.
