A whole ground-floor renovation caught during the flooring stage: a wide, open living space with a new solid oak floor being laid across it, stepping up to a raised area at the garden end where French and full-height windows bring in light. Sanders and finishing kit sit ready as the floor is worked.

This is what a full-property renovation looks like in progress — the space stripped back and reworked, the new oak boards run out square to the room and levelled across the change in floor height. It's the unglamorous middle of a project that decides how good the finished room feels.
