Reclaimed-Brick Extension to a Timber-Framed House
Ascot & East Berkshire

Photograph: the company's own work, from its Google Business profile
A newly built extension photographed against the flank of a historic black-and-white timber-framed house. The addition is laid in reclaimed brick to match the age of the property, with green oak lintels over the openings and a small timber-framed window, meeting a paved path between the buildings.
Extending a period property is as much about sympathy as structure. Reclaimed brick and oak lintels let the new work sit against centuries-old timber framing without jarring — the extension reads as though it has always been there.
