Tiled patios, water features and the garden that meets your build
When an extension opens onto the garden through bifold or sliding doors, the patio outside becomes part of the room — the levels, the threshold and the paving all have to work together. Buckhurst Construction takes on tiled patios and water features, the hard landscaping our clients and Google reviews point to.
Because we've usually built the extension the patio meets, we set the levels and the drainage so the inside floor and the outside paving read as one continuous space, and the transition through the doors sits flush and clean.
Tiled patios that meet the build
We lay tiled and paved patios with the levels, falls and drainage set out properly, so water runs away from the house and the paving stays sound. Where the patio meets a new extension, the threshold is planned so the inside and outside surfaces flow into one another.
Water features and finishing the garden
A water feature or a considered piece of hard landscaping is often what finishes a garden after a build. We install these as part of the wider project, so the outdoor space is completed to the same standard as the work inside — not left as a muddy afterthought.
